Custom Builds & Performance Projects Policy
This Custom Builds & Performance Projects Policy applies to all fabrication, performance upgrades, tuning services, engine builds, and custom automotive work performed by Virgin Racing Solutions.
By engaging Virgin Racing Solutions for a custom project, you agree to the terms below.
1. Project Scope & Estimates
All custom builds are based on the agreed-upon scope of work at the time of estimate.
Estimates are:
• Subject to change
• Based on visible inspection and available information
• Not guaranteed final pricing
Additional costs may arise due to:
• Hidden damage
• Mechanical failures
• Parts availability
• Required supporting modifications
• Customer-requested changes
Any changes to scope may result in additional charges.
2. Deposits & Payments
All custom build projects require a deposit before work begins.
• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Deposits secure labor scheduling and parts procurement.
• Parts ordered specifically for a project are non-returnable.
Progress payments may be required depending on project size.
Failure to make scheduled payments may result in work stoppage.
3. No Guaranteed Timelines
Custom automotive builds are complex and subject to variables beyond our control.
Virgin Racing Solutions does not guarantee:
• Completion dates
• Delivery timelines
• Parts availability schedules
Delays may occur due to:
• Supplier backorders
• Fabrication complexity
• Mechanical complications
• Third-party vendor delays
Project timelines are estimates only.
4. No Performance Guarantees
Unless explicitly stated in a signed written agreement:
Virgin Racing Solutions does not guarantee:
• Specific horsepower or torque figures
• Track performance
• Quarter-mile times
• Dyno results
• Reliability outcomes
Performance modifications inherently increase mechanical stress and risk.
Customers assume all risks associated with performance upgrades.
5. Warranty on Custom Work
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
• Custom builds are provided “AS IS.”
• No warranty is provided on performance outcomes.
• Labor warranties, if any, are limited and discretionary.
Manufacturer warranties on installed parts must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
Improper use, racing, abuse, or failure to maintain the vehicle voids any potential labor consideration.
6. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
• Proper maintenance
• Safe operation
• Professional installation of customer-supplied parts
• Ensuring vehicle compliance with local laws
Virgin Racing Solutions is not liable for:
• Engine failure
• Transmission damage
• Drivetrain failure
• ECU or tuning-related damage
• Emissions violations
• Racing incidents
7. Storage & Abandoned Vehicles
Vehicles not picked up within a reasonable timeframe after project completion may incur storage fees.
Virgin Racing Solutions reserves the right to:
• Charge daily storage fees
• Place a mechanic’s lien where permitted by law
• Pursue legal remedies for unpaid balances
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virgin Racing Solutions shall not be liable for:
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of vehicle use
• Loss of revenue or profits
• Diminished vehicle value
• Towing, rental, or transportation costs
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.
9. Agreement to Terms
By authorizing work, paying a deposit, or engaging Virgin Racing Solutions for a custom build, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this policy.
